  • Posting Setups
  • Post all open journals
    -Cash Receipts
  • Post Recurring Entries
    -Post those that need to be closed
  • Inventory Reconciliation (optional)
  • A/R Reconciliation
    -Tie customer trial balance report to the A/R account – By Customer Posting Group
  • A/P Reconciliation
    -Tie the Vendor Trial Balance Report to the A/P Account – By Vendor posting Group o Commitments
  • Fixed Assets
    -Calculate Depreciation and Post Depreciation to the G/L
  • Bank Accounts
    -Reconcile each Bank Account using Bank Reconciliation module
  • Multi-Currency
    -Enter Currency Conversion Rates that will be used for gain/loss evaluation at the end of the fiscal year
  • Lock Out Posting Year that will be closed
    -Change Posting Dates in G/L Setup o Check User Posting Setups – Only Set Values for users that are Exceptions
  • The Year-End Close
    -Verify upcoming Fiscal Year Calendar exists in Accounting Periods setup o If not, create periods for the next year or two
    -Close Accounting Periods for Year to be closed
    -Close the Income Statement – By Dimension
    -Open the Gen. Journal and enter Retained Earnings Account(s), Post the Closing Entry using a Closing Date.
    -Verify the P&L Accounts have zero balance for new Fiscal Period
  • Financial Statements and Budgets
    -Create the budget for the upcoming Fiscal Year
    -Run Year-End Balance Sheet o Run Year-End Income Statement
    -Run Any Statements of Operations
    -Run the Trial Balance Report and verify balances
    -Run Statement of Cash Flows

  • RSVP per individual is required.  Seats/connections are limited.  Confirmations will be on a first come, first serve basis.  More than one person per company is allowed

  • Versions of Dynamics and/or Oracle JD Edwards used for the training vary.  Optimus tries and conducts trainings to generically cover the current and past 2 versions of the ERP or CRM system.  If a student has doubts, you may email to confirm a version included in a training
  • Students will be given training by senior Optimus consultants / instructors or industry invitee experts with the goal of teaching usage of the particular functionality or business concepts
  • If a course is for a software system, the course is meant to be used in live client system environments or for customers who may try and activate functionality internally by their own staff.  The training is not meant for customers who are in the middle of an implementation
  • This training is NO SUBSTITUTE for training of an active in progress implementation and/or project
  • If a client takes 10 of these trainings per year, this represents an incentive valued at $4,500 USD.  This ROI is calculated assuming a client would pay 3 hours (1 prep and 2 execution) in consulting fees at regular rates for such a course
